ROLE SUMMARY
The Program Associate supports programme planning, coordination, and delivery across FSR Global’s portfolio. Working closely with the Head of Programs, the role strengthens execution discipline across workplans, convenings, partner coordination, reporting, and internal tracking.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Programme Planning and Coordination
- Support annual and quarterly programme planning through workplans, trackers, calendars, and milestone reporting.
- Coordinate cross-team inputs to keep deliverables on schedule and align owners on next steps.
- Maintain programme documentation including scopes of work, timelines, and internal decision logs.
Project Delivery Support
- Support delivery of outputs across research, training, dialogues, and proof-of-concept initiatives.
- Coordinate meetings including agendas, pre-reads, minutes, and action tracking.
- Support quality assurance through review cycles, version control, and submission packaging.
Donor and Partner Reporting Support
- Support preparation of donor updates, progress reports, and deliverable evidence packs.
- Track contractual commitments, reporting deadlines, and dependencies across projects.
- Support proposal development by coordinating inputs and consolidating drafts.
Convenings and Stakeholder Management
- Support planning and execution of convenings and workshops in coordination with operations and partnerships teams.
- Draft stakeholder communications and maintain structured contact lists for programme delivery.
- Support follow-up processes to ensure decisions translate into action.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required in public policy, economics, international relations, management, social sciences, engineering, or a related field.
- Master’s degree in the above field is an advantage.
Experience and Skills
- 3–6 years of experience in programme management, consulting, operations, development, research organisations, or donor-funded projects.
- Strong organisational skills and comfort managing multiple workstreams and deadlines.
- Strong writing skills for briefs, reports, emails, meeting notes, and structured trackers.
- Familiarity with energy, climate, infrastructure, or policy ecosystems is an advantage.
