ROLE SUMMARY

FSR Global is seeking a Partnerships Lead to design, lead, and continuously improve the organisation’s partnership strategy and ecosystem. This senior, outward-facing role shapes how FSR Global collaborates with regulators, utilities, governments, multilaterals, foundations, corporates, and knowledge partners across the Global South.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Partnership Strategy and Positioning

  • Design and lead a multi-year partnership strategy aligned with FSR Global priorities.
  • Build partner-facing narratives and positioning around regulatory innovation, market design, digital infrastructure, and system planning.
  • Maintain an opportunity map and prioritisation framework across government, corporate, foundation, multilateral, and research partners.

Partnership Development and Governance

  • Build and steward senior-level relationships; serve as a trusted ambassador for FSR Global.
  • Lead the partnership lifecycle: ecosystem mapping, outreach, co-creation, proposal development, negotiation, agreement finalisation, and governance.
  • Work with programme teams to scope joint initiatives with clear delivery plans, resourcing, and measurable outcomes.
  • Develop partner-specific value propositions and reusable proposal assets.

Resource Mobilisation and Portfolio Management

  • Own pipeline health and portfolio performance tracking; set and monitor OKRs with leadership.
  • Forecast, track, and report partnership-linked revenue and in-kind commitments in coordination with finance.
  • Identify and cultivate strategic funding opportunities with foundations, bilaterals, and multilaterals.

External Representation and Ecosystem Influence

  • Represent FSR Global at high-level events and forums; communicate the organisation’s positioning clearly and credibly.
  • Convene multi-stakeholder dialogues and partnership platforms relevant to energy transitions in the Global South.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Education

    • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree required in business, economics, public policy, international relations, engineering, sustainability, or a related field.

    Experience and Skills

    • 10+ years in partnerships, business development, ecosystem-building, donor relations, or strategy in energy, climate, infrastructure, development, or public policy.
    • Proven ability to close and grow complex multi-stakeholder partnerships.
    • Demonstrated experience securing grants and multi-year commitments from foundations, bilaterals, and/or multilaterals.
    • Global South experience strongly preferred; familiarity with India’s energy transition landscape is an advantage.
    • Strong executive communication, negotiation, portfolio analytics, and team leadership.
