About Us
Our Approach to Excellence
FSR Global is an independent and neutral regulatory hub of excellence that engages with multi-stakeholders (regulators, policymakers, industry and academia) to co-create knowledge and make it accessible and actionable.
We facilitate the development and delivery of effective infrastructure policy and regulation focused on the global-south region. Our primary focus is on the energy sector and its interaction with other sectors.
We work using our 3-pillars model (combining: policy dialogue, applied research and innovative training) which aims at improving the quality of the regulatory policy.
Our Journey
FSR Global was established in India in 2019 by the European University Institute(EUI) – Florence School of Regulation (FSR). Carrying forward the legacy of FSR, we aim to strengthen the global south-south and north-south transcontinental knowledge exchange on infrastructure policy and regulation.
governance
We are set up as a Section 8, non-profit company under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs in India.
We are governed by a Policy Council constitutive of Distinguished Fellows to help develop and oversee the knowledge outputs and is supported by an Advisory Council bringing expertise from a wider network of professionals. FSR Global is currently headed by Swetha Ravi Kumar who serves as the Executive Director of the organization.
