Through capability building, structured dialogues, and proof-of-concept work, we enable governments and utilities to adopt innovations at scale 

ROLE SUMMARY

The Partnership Manager develops and manages a portfolio of strategic partnerships supporting FSR Global’s research, capacity-building, policy engagement, and proof-of-concept work. The role translates shared intent into structured agreements and deliverable-focused collaborations, working closely with programme teams and partner institutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Partnership Origination and Deal Execution

  • Identify and pursue partnership opportunities aligned with FSR Global priorities.
  • Lead end-to-end partnership development: outreach, discovery, concept notes, proposal development, negotiation, and agreement finalisation.
  • Develop partner-specific value propositions and well-scoped collaboration plans.

Partnership Delivery and Account Management

  • Manage a portfolio of active partnerships (typically 15–20) and support delivery against commitments.
  • Coordinate with programme teams on workplans, timelines, resourcing, and feasibility.
  • Track performance using defined metrics; prepare progress updates for senior stakeholders.
  • Identify renewal and expansion opportunities within existing partnerships.

Stakeholder Coordination and Systems

  • Maintain a structured database/CRM for prospects, partners, engagement history, and pipeline status.
  • Represent FSR Global in partner meetings, working groups, and relevant forums.

Documentation and Learning

  • Maintain records for agreements, MoUs, correspondence, and delivery artefacts.
  • Capture lessons learned and support development of case studies and partnership playbooks.

      QUALIFICATIONS

      Education

      • Bachelor’s degree required in business, economics, public policy, international relations, engineering, sustainability, or a related field.
      • Master’s degree (MBA, MPA, MPP, MA, or equivalent) is an advantage.

      Experience and Skills

      • 5–8 years in partnerships, business development, programme management, or stakeholder engagement; energy, climate, or development sector experience preferred.
      • Demonstrated experience managing multi-stakeholder partnerships from inception through delivery.
      • Strong writing, negotiation, project management, and analytical judgement.
