BIOGRAPHY
Frédéric Gonand (PhD, Hdr, CNU Pr) is a French economist with extensive experience in advising authorities and companies on energy issues. From 2007 to 2011, economic advisor to Mrs Christine Lagarde, then Minister of the Economy in France. Then appointed as Commissioner (2011-2013) of the French Energy Regulation Authority by the French President of the Republic. Since 2013: academic activities (publications in the best academic journals SJR 1 energy/environmental economics) and consulting activities esp. for businesses investing in the energy sector. Director of 3 Master degrees, 1 Executive Master. Currently professor of economics at University Paris-Dauphine; economic advisor and member of the Board of Directors of the French employers’ trade union in the industrial sector (UIMM) and consultant for various consultancy firms and businesses. + Art economics: PhD in Art History (University PSL & Ecole du Louvre)(2022), cofounder of the Exec. Master “Art Markets and Wealth Management”, prof. of Art Markets at Ecole du Louvre.
