Committed to creating data-driven knowledge to aid strategic decisions for the transition towards low-carbon, climate-resilient industries, both in developed and developing countries. International expert with more than 19 years of experience in matters of energy and infrastructure sectors, with ample experience in the process of designing policies and facilitating consensus among stakeholders, using evidence-based analysis to facilitate policy dialogue. Advised governments, regulatory authorities, utilities, industrial associations and multilateral institutions in Europe, Latin America, the US and Asia.
Actively involved in the education of senior professionals and young researchers. Regular speaker in international conferences. Published his work in professional and academic journals. Developed quantitative models for both short- and long-term studies of energy markets
