BIOGRAPHY
Srikanth has spent the last 15 years applying machine learning and robotics to solve real-world challenges. Since graduating from Carnegie Mellon University, he has worked at research centers and innovation labs in Japan, Dubai, and the US, focusing on spatial cognition and multimodal understanding. In 2017, he co-founded Explorer AI, where he and his team built a large-scale mapping platform for autonomous vehicles, enabling the creation, updating, and serving of maps for driverless cars. Explorer AI was later acquired by Standard Cognition, where Srikanth led the machine learning and computer vision teams, deploying autonomous checkout solutions and advanced retail analytics in real-world retail environments. Most recently he has cofounded Dxtr AI, solving the critical data bottlenecks that hinder the widespread adoption of general purpose robotics and large world models.
