Omkar has an undergraduate degree in commerce from Savitribai Phule Pune University. Currently, he is enrolled as a Master’s student in Public Policy at National Law School of India University’s in Bengaluru. His dissertation research will explore the microeconomic results of India’s ethanol-petrol blend ecosystem as an alternative transport fuel system. 

He is interested in a diverse variety of areas such as Green Funding, Climate Finance and Renewable Energy Markets. He also has an entrepreneurial mindset and is eager to start his own business to benefit society.  

Previously, Omkar has worked as a research intern in GRAAM (Grassroot Research and Advocacy Movement), CPPR (Centre for Public Policy), and IRDS (Integrated Rural Development Society) before joining FSR Global as a research intern.
