Ramakrishnan is a research associate at FSR Global, India, with keen interest in resource adequacy and policy. 

He has previously worked as a data analyst in the team of author and data journalist Rukmini Srinivasan at Datarivu Services Private Limited in Chennai. His work primarily involved analysis of large datasets for client projects, news articles and government survey reports. 

Ramakrishnan has a master’s degree in economics from Azim Premji University, Bangalore; a diploma in international affairs and diplomacy from the Indian Institute of Governance and Leadership; and holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Madras Christian College, Chennai.
