SHIVANI GARG
Research Fellow
BIOGRAPHY
Shivani Garg holds a PhD (Thesis submitted) in Electrical Engineering from Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur with a focus on reserve scheduling in renewable-rich power systems, M.Tech. in Power Systems from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology Bhopal, and B.Tech. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. With over seven years of experience in teaching and research, she has served in various academic roles across leading institutions.
Her research interests span uncertainty modeling, risk-averse optimization, and integration of renewable energy sources into power systems. Her work involves advanced computational techniques like fuzzy logic and affine arithmetic for reserve quantification, and she has contributed significantly to the understanding of flexible reserve providers like BESS, PHES, and demand response systems.
Shivani has authored and co-authored several research papers published in IEEE conferences and reputed journals, and has contributed to book chapters on battery-integrated residential energy systems. She has also actively organized faculty development programs, webinars, and training sessions, and served as a Virtual Lab Coordinator under national initiatives by MHRD.
