BIOGRAPHY
Swetha Ravi Kumar is the Executive Director of FSR Global, where she leads research, training, and policy dialogue on energy transitions with a focus on sustainable systems in India and the Global South. Her work spans energy policy and regulation, smart grids, resource adequacy, and gender inclusion in the power sector. Swetha has previously worked with institutions such as the Florence School of Regulation – European University Institute, FMO Dutch Development Bank, Fraunhofer ISE, CII-GBC, and ISRO. She serves as Vice President of the International Association for Energy Economics, Board Member of the Indian Association for Energy Economics, and contributes to multiple global energy initiatives, including the UNECE Task Force on Digitalisation in Energy Efficiency and the Asia LEDS Partnership within the Global Climate Action Partnership. She holds degrees in Sustainable Energy Engineering (KTH Royal Institute of Technology), Management (IIM Bangalore, HEC Paris), and Electrical Engineering (BVRIT – JNTU).
